Well, you can say that Coleman was excited Christmas morning! He didn't know what to do when he ran in the den. He was speechless and it was so cute!! He got too much stuff! He found his electric scooter so Patrick and I said that it was from us. So I came flying up on it outside in the rain with my p.j.s on and an umbrella. I am glad he was little because had he been older, I am quite sure he would have been embarassed!! I can't believe I didn't fall!! He flipped out over his stuff and helped little Byars open his things!! It was a great Christmas with both my boys!!!! Patrick and are so blessed and we love our family so much!!!

Every Christmas morning Lovie and Poppy, Nanny and Pop come to see what Santa brought Coleman. This year we had an extra Christmas present, our little Byars!! Coleman was so sweet with him! Patrick made yummy Christmas breakfast and we all ate and enjoyed being together! Peyton got to come this year and she had a surprise on her finger!! She is getting married, to Lael, he is a really great guy and we are so excited for her!!

Christmas with Bobbie and Paw was an affair to remember! All the kids had a blast and played all night long!! Coleman is the oldest so it's funny to see the little people follow him around. He is the baby on the other side of the family! His Bobbie has a lime tree at her house and he loves to pick limes and make limeade. He asked her for one of his own for Christmas and of course she got him one. He was so tickled. We actually already have little limes growing, a ton of them!! Then we tried to get a picture of them all together for her new years cards but they weren't exactly cooperating! It was a hoot!!

It was the night before Christmas and all the through the Lantrip all the creatures were stirring and it wasn't at all quiet in the house!!! Coleman was making cookies for santa and Byars was getting ready for nite nite and Coleman tried to get a picture with him but he wasn't really enjoying it! It was a night to remember. Byars had no clue what was going on!!!

Homestead Hollow!!

We went to Homestead Hollow to see the lights this year. It was sooo cool and we even got to ice skate! Coleman loved it and thought it was great. Man, it has been a long time since I had done that. Patrick watched Byars while Coleman and I skated and we had a blast! Then we roasted some marshies and ran into our good friends D.J. and Shelli and their kiddos Gracie and Jack!

Everyone enjoyed Christmas with Pop and Nanny! It was amazing as always. Being with family and celebrating the birth of Christ with grandparents is one of my most favorite things. We ate, laughed and opened gifts and even put Byars in the manger. This was his first Christmas with the family!! We tried to get a family picture for Nanny! It turned out pretty cute. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed being with the fam!! Coleman got to play with his cousins Trey and Zach for a long time this year so that made him super happy and Byars got passed around like a thanksgiving stuffed turkey!! Lona Elizabeth loves her little baby cousin Byars. She is always saying she wants to hold Byars, she just can't understand for the life of her why he just isn't happy in her arms all the time. It's soo cute!! Patrick's sister Leslie is having a baby in January and she is waiting to find out what it will be. It's about to drive us crazy!! What a great surprise though!! We can't wait, just like the old days!!!

Dedication

On Sunday night Byars was dedicated at church. Our pastor "Joel" made it so special. He held him and called the whole family on stage and prayed and it was just the sweetest thing. Raising a child is such a hard thing to do, wonderful, but never easy, and we know without God we could never do it alone. We are so blessed and so thankful to have this little miracle, or should I say big chunk of a miracle!!!! He is so happy and plump!

Tannehill

So Tannehill was awesome this year!! A little different having a newborn there but still great. We were there for 7 weeks, so I guess you could say that Byars starting at 5 weeks when we started, was born a camper!! We had a blast and made some great memories!! We were next to our friends so that made it all the better. We played, ate, decorated, rode bikes, went to the sweet shop every weekend and had fires and roasted marshmellows. We even managed to sell our camper and buy another one and get it down there before the trip was over, crazy I know. I dressed up Byars everyday in something new for halloween. Coleman wanted to be Rocky Balboa the Italian Stalion. He was a cute little boxer!! He came out dressed up to the song "Eye of a Tiger" but wasn't to thrilled about it because people were in the camper and I embarassed him, poor thing. I was just so excited and he is usually such a ham and he runs around in his underwear all the time so how was I to know that would embarass him, anyway he was really CUTE!!!! The last weekend there, Hope, Chad, Patrick and I, Jeremy B. and Elise all had one big bond fire and burned up all the wood. Patrick cooked catfish and hushpuppies, and Birchfield made slaw, which was the bomb by the way Jeremy!! We watched the game on the big screen and mom and Ken and granny Sheila were there of course. The kids ramped the bike ramp and played and ran around all night and we all just enjoyed being together and saying goodbye our last weekend together at Tannehill!! It's great to have good friends!!! Patrick and I are blessed to have two sweet boys this year. Double the trouble, I love it!!!!! Happy camping, till next time!!

The last few weeks we have been at Tannehill! Coleman loves it so much and Byars seems to enjoy the outdoors himself! We always enjoy being there with friends and family and make the best memories every year!! Coleman can ride his bike without training wheels this year so he is loving riding around with his friends, especially Mason. They roast marshies, weenies, ride bikes, catch fish and play in the creek. Every weekend we go to the sweet shop and get cake balls and crazy color icecream. It's the best!! Byars has a halloween outfit for every day of the week. He has started smiling and it's the sweetest thing. He smiles the most at Coleman of course, it's so funny how they know when a child is talking to them, they just light up!! Coleman has been the best big brother, he doesn't even care when Byars is screaming his head off, I can't believe it! Byars went to church this Sunday and stayed in the nursery for the first time. I had to take a picture of course. He stayed in his car seat and slept the whole time!! Maybe that was a good thing. He looked really sweet in his little outfit anyway!!! We have been hanging around the house for almost a month now! Well, I have gotten out, I just tried to stay away from germ infested places like Wal-Mart and places that are inside!! We have enjoyed the outside the most! So our family has been over to hang out and play most days!! Abby got to come and hold Byars finally. She said he was beautiful and looked like a proud little aunt! Lona loves her cousin and wanted to hold him the whole time. It was so cute, she kept saying, "Hold Byars!" Coleman loves him so much and is always kissing on him and being silly trying to make him happy!! When he cries, Coleman always knows whats wrong with him, it's sooo funny!!! Aunt LeighAnne got Byars his AC DC onsie and Lovie got him his tobogan for Tannehill this year!! He has two spooky outfits already!! I have a feeling he will love it as much as Coleman!!

So here we are at the hospital!! It was amazing!!! The c section was a little scary because I wasn't expecting it, little Byars was upside down but his face was turned the wrong way and we ran out of time to turn him!! Dr. Edwards is amazing and did a beautiful job at getting my newest baby here!! He is so healthty, both my boys are, thank you Lord!!!!! Patrick and I had a terrific labor and delivery nurse and she got some awesome shots for us in the or!! My little buddy was so excited to meet his new brother!! I got him his own trophy that said, "# 1 Big Brother!" He was really tickled over that!!!! His first trophy!!! I am so excited and loving life!!!!

Seems Like Yesterday We Had Coleman

It seems like yesterday we were bringing home our first baby and now he started 4-k and will be a big brother tomorrow at some point during the day! I can't believe that it's really about to happen, God is blessing us with another baby!!! So in the morning at 5:00 a.m. Patrick and I will arrive at the hospital and they will break my water! I am already 2 cm and Dr. Edwards said since I was due on saturday anyway and he would be on call then he would be able to deliver Byars!!! Oh My Gosh, I am a little nervous you could say! My water broke with Coleman on his due date. I am not sure whats more nerve wracking, knowing that tomorrow Byars is coming or the not knowing like before!!!! Atleast I am prepared I guess!! I know all will go well and that Coleman will be tickled. He has been telling everyone that he is getting a brother on Friday! Please pray for us and that the baby is healthy and my delivery is not too hard!!!! Can't wait to post when he arrives!!! I can't wait to hold that baby and see both my boys, all my boys, together for the first time!!! Patrick and I are soooo excited!!!

First Day of School!!!!

Alright, so this morning was the first day of school! He woke up and came in there and asked to play the Wii, I said, "Well, we can play that later because we need to eat our breakfast, and he said, " That's right mom, today I get to go to school!"He was excited and of course that made me feel better! I was a nervous wreck don't you know! So we ate and got ready and he showed Poppy his new shoes that light up and how fast they made him go and then we got his little spider man lunch box that he so sweetly helped me pack and his little or big back pack, they all look big on the little people, and we headed out the door! Patrick and I of course had the video and camera! He was precious and I was so proud and I really just could not believe my eyes, my baby going to school and ready to go too!! He didn't mind getting some shots with mom and dad and then he walked in the room and we hung up his stuff and he sat at his little table and was just as content and looking around. He had his little sack with his name on it and they all were supposed to bring something from home that they really liked and show it the first day. So my buddy brought his snake, not a real one! He loves to play swamp people and zoo keeper and stuff and literally loves his pretend snakes, so that is what he had for show and tell!!! I took one last picture and he gave me a thumbs up. When he does that he is usually excited and so I knew I could walk out that door, but man was it hard!!!! I cried for about 30 minutes and then I was alright! I didn't let him see me of course!!! On the way back home Patrick said, "Well, he is a man now!" Time goes WAY too fast when they are little!! I can't imagine what our own parents feel when they look at us with our own children you know. I even saw little man Tate on the way out. He is adorable and I of course had to get his picture! So when 1:00 arrives I will be waiting on my big baby to come out that door and let me hear all about his first day of school! I can't wait!! This was definitely a milestone for all of us!!!!!!

The Day Before School

So yesterday was the day before school! We just hung out like a regular day with mom and rode down the street with Lovie to get some new school shoes, then came home and played ALL day outside!! Our new neighbor is Rayne and she is soooo sweet to Coleman. He thinks she is wonderful. He never had any children to play with in our old neighborhood because they were so scattered out. He wakes up asking when she is coming over to play, so all day yesterday they played. He had such a good time and we went to get snow cones, which we have done a good bit since we moved in here. It' s right down the street and it's been so hot, I love it!!! He ended the night with a bike ride and after he ate and we laid on the couch a few minutes he was gone! I looked over and saw that sweet big baby and just boo hooed!! I couldn't believe that when we wake in the morning, Patrick and I will take him to school!

McWane on Friday!!!

Me and Lovie took Coleman to the McWane Center on Friday! He loves that place and of course he had a wonderful time and finally got to see the eel! He has been wanting to see that thing forever!! He played so hard. They had the slide open and that made him happy and it looked so fun I have to admit. I really wanted to do it! They had bubble play and a giant bubble thing that you could get in, it was really cool. I got a good one of him blowing a giant bubble out!!!!! We will be back soon I am sure, they always have new things there for him to do and try!

My little fella went to zoo camp! His Bobbie thought he would love it and he did!! He spent the night with her almost all week and played with his cousins Jack and Lona. He got to go to the movies and swim at Granny's and just had a blast! I missed him terribly though I must say, I thought he would never come home! He told me all about the animals and feeding them and being a zoo keeper. He loved the snakes and the last day they got to walk with the kangaroos! I am so glad he had that experience. Bobbie took him and picked him up every day. Friday I took him and picked him up and I just had to snag some shots of him with his little safari hat and zoo camp shirt! They had little water bottles and everything!!!! Sooooo cute! The 4 year olds were called the Beavers!!! God love him!!!!!! He was one pooped out little zoo keeper when he got home!!!!!! I am so proud of him!

Baron's Game with Daddy!!!!

Patrick took Coleman to the Baron's game Tuesday night and he had a blast!! He came home and just went on and on about what they did!! He wanted to catch a ball so bad and so when he got home he said, "Mom," I caught a fly ball way up in the air, he was so excited!! Of course, he did catch a ball but no pop fly, one of the players rolled one up there to him, but Patrick said it was great and in his mind, he caught a ball and that's all that mattered!!!! He ate a hot dog and had nachos, he got to get his picture made with the mascot and even spit!! He loves to spit so Patrick bought them some sunflower seeds and let him spit away!!!!! The Birmingham Zoo was there as well and he got to help hold the snake, of course he thought that was AWESOME!!!!! He had such a good time and I have to admit I was a little jealous and really wanted some nachos!!!! I am so happy they got to have that time together!!!! He was glowing in every picture!!

Meet The Teacher!!

So the anxiety has set in, well, for me anyway!!! This little guy really doesn't know what school truly is, Sunday school is a little different. He will be going to 4-k this year and so we went to meet his teacher last week. He was so sweet and she had little bags for them with their names on them and little goodies in there. He did really good and I didn't even cry, well, not until he wasn't looking anyway!! I know he will like it and that it will be good for him, it's just so dang hard to let go when they have been with you since birth and never gone to school before!!! I am so proud and I know I will survive. He only goes 4 days a week and from 9 - 1, so I can handle that and I know Byars will be here for me to take care of while he is at school. Oh my baby is growing up!!!! There is a picture of Coleman and Patrick on here together in our new home with the snakes!!!!!!! Not for real one, though he wishes they were!!! He loves to play swamp people!!!!! We had a practice lunch at home the other day to be sure he could open all his stuff out of his little spider man lunch box!!! He did so good, I couldn't help but take his picture and video him!!! I know it's rediculous but man does the time go by so fast!!!! I love this little man so!!

Our agent is the bomb if someone wants to use him I HIGHLY recommend him!! Coleman and I "settle down on the couch for the last night together in our home. He helped us vaccum and we had sparklers in the back yard. He loves fireworks! What boys don't though? Anyway, we are moved on and someone else is enjoying our old home at high ridge drive. Life is changing, but for the good!

The Last Few Days at High Ridge Drive

We have been moving and are actually in the new other house but my blogging has been delayed for a while! We have been busy as you can imagine. The baby is coming in about 2 weeks or sooner but the nursery is done and so is Coleman's room!! Coleman's room was finished first. I wanted him to be the most comfortable but I don't think he really even misses our old house. I do but we have MUCH more room now and 13 acres behind the house for him for play in once we get it bush hogged! Thanks Poppy for letting us live here. It's such a blessing. Selling our house in 4 weeks was awesome and crazy at the same time. So we aren't homeless and live very close to Lovie and Poppy now!! Poor Patrick hasn't slept much in the last 2 months, he has worked his butt off! Anyway, here are some pictures of us at the old house, some of our last few days together there. I have some more but haven't got them downloaded yet. My buddy went to zoo camp at the birmingham zoo and starts 4-k next week. I am having a baby and we moved!! At The Farm!!!!!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I took Patrick and Coleman to see my cousins cattle farm in Shorter Alabama! It was great and they had a ball and LOVED every minute of it!! Hal and Vicki are my cousins on the Segrest side of the family and they have 3 children who are grown up like Adam and me. When we were kids we used to go up there all the time and they would show us the cows and we would get to play on their REAllY cool toys. They used to ride us on the go carts and 4 wheelers and we would have the best time. Coleman got to experience some of that and ride on the tractor with Hal and his GiGi and Grandy showed him the cows!!! They were just a mooing at us and Coleman wasn't quite sure about them at first because there was so many of them and they got sooo close. I think they are precious, and well, lets admit it, they taste good too!! Patrick rode around on the golf cart with Coleman and he brought his 22 so he and Coleman could shoot it together out in the country. It was the first gun he ever shot when he was a kid so it was pretty special to him so see his son do the same thing!!! Ever since I was little I wanted land like my cousins to raise my kids on so they could be free!!!! I hope sooner than later we get some, it's in the making, the Lord has really blessed us. I love being with family!! Thanks Hal and Vicki for inviting us down, it was a time we will never forget!! I love you guys!

S O L D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we sold our house unofficially! I guess on July 27th our closing date we will be official! We had our inspection already and it was good so we are just waiting and getting started on the packing! We will be moving to Hueytown for a few months till we can decide exactly what to do. Poppy's house, which has his office downstairs, and we will live upstairs since it's vacant and has much more space than we have now will be our new home for a while. We will be moving about a month before the baby is due so little Byars will never know our old house that Coleman has been growing up in but that is alright. I feel extremely lucky to have such a kick BUTT realtor who sold our house in 4 short weeks. Thanks Rick, your the bomb!!! He came over 5 times before he would even put it on the market, he wanted to make sure this house would sell. There was 11 others in our neighborhood! What can I say, ours was the best, hehehehehe!!! I know it will be hard to leave the last day because Patrick and I bought this house brand new together before we got married and we brought home our sweet baby here, but we plan to have land where these boys can run free and feel like they are in the country! It's Bittersweet!!!!!!!! Lets hope it all goes through!!!!!!!!!

Memaw's Birthday

We went to see Memaw for her birthday on Monday and she was sooo excited, so was Coleman! We got her a cake and some balloons and Aunt Joe and Daddy got her some jewelry and a shirt! She loved it and Coleman helped her open it of course, then insisted on putting her jewelry on her, it was soooo sweet. Aunt Joe got her a crown and when she got all of her jewelry on Coleman said, "Memaw, now you look like a real princess!" He blew out her candles and told her she was very old!!! We had a good time and felt so blessed to have her another year! We love you Memaw!!!!!

VBS 2011

So VBS is over and Sunday night they had commencement where they got to show off everything they learned to their families! They were all so cute and Coleman got on stage and did his little song with the little people! It's so sweet to hear them sing about Jesus. They enjoyed their week, but it takes alot out of you (adults too) so we were a little glad it was all over too!!! When the big kids got up there to do their thing Coleman kept jumping on stage and singing and dancing. He thought he should be up there too!!! It was great, a week I will never forget!

These kids are crazy!!!! So here a few of Grace Life Baptist (formerly Loveless Park) kids at Vacation Bible School!! They have been so cute and so excited all week. It's awesome to see little people pumped up for Jesus!!! This is Coleman's first year and he is having a blast!! I am teaching the 5 k and 1st grade crafts with my Aunt Karen which has been a wonderful experience with the little people!! Coleman is in the 4K class so I don't usually see him till 12:00 but I snuck in and got a picture of him today doing his crafts. I couldn't resist!!! The kids with the matching shirts are Coleman's cousins Trey and Zach which he LOVES to be with, I took their picture together for Nanny!!!! The goofy guy with the funny face is our pastor Joel. He is a nut and gets the kids FIRED up in the mornings!! The pictures of the classroom is our craft class, they were like take our picture, look at our crafts!!!! Can't wait to see them do their thing Sunday night, they are all precious!!

We went to Wayne and Paigey's this past weekend to celebrate Memorial Day! The kids had a blast and we enjoyed watching them be together! They could live there I believe. I remember being just like that when I was little, every time Pop and Nanny would make us leave the lake I would cry! Something about being on the water. Play all day, sleep all night!! These guys were pooped out at the end of the day, they kept saying, "One more tube ride, one more ride on the wave runners!"

Meet Reagan!!! She belongs to Rachel (formerly Reed now Jones) and Ryan!! Isn't she sweet! She weighed 6 lbs. and 11.6 oz. and was 19 inches long! She is perfect and I was soooo happy I got to be there. Shaunna and I drove to North Carolina on Tuesday the 24th and she came late that night. Thanks to Shaunna I got to go. I was a little worried about driving 8 1/2 hours alone 6 months pregger. She drove my Tahoe and we made it together!! She had a VERY hard time getting Reagan here and when she woke up from her c-section she was glad to see us there. After pushing for 3 hours and no progress was made the doc said, ok section time. So off she went, by then her epidural was wearing off and so they gave her a spinal block but then she was numb to her shoulders and felt like she was suffocating and couldn't breath so they had to put her totally under. When she woke up she was basically overwhelmed, over medicated and shaking. It was quite pitiful but she finally got to feeling like her self and FINALLY got to see her baby!! She ask that no pictures be shared of herself on here yet so of course I only showed Reagan and Ryan! Rachel has been in the hospital almost a whole week, they won't let her go home because her blood pressure is so high still. She has seen 6 different doctors but none of them know the answer behind the mysterious high BP, so please pray for her because she is ready to go home with her new little family! She said she has no symptoms and that she feels good for the most part and Reagan is healthy as a horse!! I can't believe my WEDGE has her own baby!! She is so beautiful!

My Mother's Day Week!

Every year we go to the beach for Mother's day! This year was great with my little guy and he enjoyed hanging out with famiy and just being a kid! He LOVES the ocean and could float all day long!!! We built a castle and did some boogie boarding and even saw a shark. Coleman thought it was awesome, I was a little freaked out. The sand bar was really close so Coleman could go right there and catch crabs and minnows. The sand shark swam back out and we never saw another one again. It was about as big as Coleman. Chris and Lauren came down for the weekend and spent the night! Coleman loved that! They live in Pensacola and are newly weds so we were excited to spend some time with them. Peyton lives in Destin so we got to see her every day!!! She bought us this little kit to make your childs foot pring in the sand and it's a keepsake. It was sooo cool. When it dried, we couldn't believe how big Coleman's foot was. HUGE!! Almost as big as mine. He is going to be a big'n I believe!! It was awesome, we just missed daddy. He stayed behind for work and couldn't come!! Poor daddy:( ..... We played all day and ate good food at night and even being 6 months pregnant in the mega heat wasn't to bad!! I had an amazing Mother's day, the best!!! I got to be with my mom and have my baby with me! I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thanks Poppy for taking us, I love you!!!!!!

Easter at Lovie and Poppy's was a blast watching the boys run crazy! They had been hunting eggs for days they said so we didn't even have a hunt there. They made music, chased each other around and played football. Patrick took a picture of me and my big o belly. WOW am I growing! I can't believe we are adding another boy to this clan! Coleman got a giant duck from uncle Adam and too much junk and toys from Lovie but he loves it! He aggervated Pop of course, but Pop just laughs and makes him come back for more! Paigey got in on the music but we begged her to stop, just kidding Paigey, we love your singing!!! Coleman looked so handsome in his Easter outfit, he even posed for me to get some sweet shots! I love the Easter and being with family and celebrating our Lord and Savior! There is nothing better than getting together with the ones you love! What a special day!!

We celebrated Easter at Bobbie and Paws on Saturday with all Coleman's cousins on the Lantrip side! He is loving Jack and Lona being a little older now! They can play and chase him now!!! They had a ball! They hunted eggs, Coleman even found a real one and ate it! They played ball and ring around the roses and just ran plain wild till they about all fell out at dark! They were all precious and ate dinner at their little people table. It was a great Easter and GiGi even managed to get some sugar from her great grand babies!

All the children had a GREAT time to say the least! We started out in prayer, got silly and started the hunt!! When Coleman found his first egg he said, "Hey, I thought there was going to be hot dogs!" I said there is but not in the eggs. It was cute. He would rather have a hot dog than candy!! It was a fun day and he got to be with his cousins!!

The Storm

What can I say about the storm. It seems everywhere around us here is broken. Pleasant Grove is most of our hometown to people who read my blog so it is very personal to us. I don't know why it hits some homes and churches and skips others but I know my family is alright and so are their homes. Its amazing really. I am so thankful to God and feel so incredibly blessed. It was so hard to see it on television knowing that it was going right over them and being at home feeling so helpless wondering if they are alright. The worst thing I believe I have experienced personally. I am overwhelmed for the community of P.G. and truly speechless. When I saw the devastation and realized it would never be the same again it just broke my heart in two. My heart and prayers are out there for every person and family who were left with nothing, people everywhere. It is so hard to imagine when seeing everything in person how anyone is alive. I just don't see how people survived but they did and they will continue to survive. It's hard for some people to see how we must give God the glory in a situation like this, but we do. He is good and we must praise him. He gives us everything we need. I just thank him for his many blessings I receive every day and for the one he gave me on Wednesday night, my family alive. I am praying for you all out there and I love you -

Monday night we went to watch Zach play ball! He did so good and looked so cute in his uniform and even posed for me!!!! Coleman thought it was great because he got to see his cousins and of course play under the bleachers!! Maybe next year will be his year for ball!! I could see from the this game he wasn't too interested in what was going on, on the field!!

It's A Boy!!!! Byars Stephens Lantrip

So yesterday was the big day!!! Coleman said if it was a girl her name would be Ponytail and if it was a boy his name would be Tree Cutter!!! Bobbie, Lovie and Poppy were there in the waiting room waiting to hear the big news!!! So we went in with Coleman and you could definitley tell it was a BOY!!!! We are so happy about the little tree cutter and Coleman is excited have a brother!!! I can't wait to see them together for the first time. I know it will be so sweet!!!!! His name is Byars Stephens after all his great grandmothers!! My nanny's mother's maiden name was Byars and My Memaw and Patricks Granny's maiden name was Stephens so we decided on Byars Stephens Lantrip!!! He is already 1/2 a pound!!!!! Healthy with a heart rate of 146!!!!! We are so excited!!!!!

Tannehill Spring Break 2011

We went to Tannehill for a week for spring break and boy did we have fun, pregnant and all! I rode a bike and kept up with the rest of them!! Coleman had the time of his life and started riding his big bike on the road without training wheels!! My big guy, I can't believe it!! He even talked Hope into getting into the canoe with him!! You could say she loves him a little!!! Patrick had to work during the week but after work we still had some fun since it gets dark late now!! Don't you love those long summer days. I don't know how the kids played in that super cold spring water creek but they did, all of them, having the time of their life, just being kids, it was GREAT!!! I loved every minute of it!!! Friends and family came down to play and hang out and go to trade days and the sweet shop!! I even got to take Rachel. She was here for her shower and got to spend the whole afternoon with us. It was awesome!! I can't believe we are having babies together. She looks amazing!! Due May 22!!! We walked around trade days together, ate hot dogs and drank old time lemonade!!! It was a super fun time!

Friday of spring break we met Aunt Karen, Nanny, Pop, Lovie and Trey and Zach at the Pleasant Grove Park for some fun with our grandparents and cousins!! They had so much fun! We got there at 11:00, had a quick picnic and it was off to the creek. We didn't leave the park till 4:30 and they stayed in the creek until then. The tried to catch fish and craw dads, ate icecream and built a dam like little beavers!!! They did a great job too and were soooo proud of each other!!! It was truly a day to remember!!!

On Valentines day 4 years ago we brought this love bug home from the hospital so since daddy had to work Coleman and I decided to spend the love day together at the park! It was beautiful out and he loves the zoo so much! We did it all and saw it all, we even got our picture made in the picture booth! It said Valentines day on it so it made for a great memory!!!! 6 hours of walking and playing made a pregnant mommy worn out, we both crashed the minute we hit the door!!! It was one of the greatest valentines I have ever had!!!! He makes my heart want to blow out of my chest with that smile!! I love him so!! Can't wait till march, Trails of Africa opens and the camel rides start back!!!

At The Park!

Last week was so beautiful we did something every day outside!!!!! We went to the park and had picnics together 2 days in a row! I am enjoying spending this time with my baby before the new baby gets here. I know it will be wonderful, but different so I am trying to soke up this time with him while I can and it's been great! He loves picnics and when we got the Old Town Helena the boy was ecstatic!!! He loved that water! I got some great shots of him just being a boy and I loved sitting on the blanket just watching him and thinking of how happy he makes me! What a great two days of fun in the sun!!! I definitely have spring fever!

We ate dinner at Bobbies on Sunday so Coleman got to see his cousins!!! They are getting bigger now and they enjoy playing with one another a lot more!!!! I thought they were so cute at the cousins table eating!!!! That Lona girl is growing so fast. We hope we are having a little girl that she can dress up and have tea parties with !! Coleman's First Teeth Cleaning!!

Coleman went to get his teeth cleaned with Dr. Shane the other day!! Ms. Donna cleaned them and she was soooo sweet and Coleman must have been super comfortable with her because he was good as gold! I couldn't believe it. He didn't act scared just curious at first. He got to spit so you know he liked that! Of course Lovie went with us and Dr. Shane was so happy we came to see him for Coleman's first cleaning!! He is the best and we love him so! Thanks Ms. Donna, your the bomb!!!! We had a wonderful first experience!!!

The Georgia Mountains!!!

We had a blast this January in the mountains!!! We ate shopped, drank cocoa, made fires and snow tubed! Coleman even caught snowflakes on his tongue in his underwear! Only for a second of course!!! It was awesome!!!! Can't wait to go back! Coleman loved stoking the fire, he thinks he is a man, he is so funny, he does everything in his underwear. I think he we should come up with T-shirts that say do everything in your underwear, life is so much sweeter!!!!

Snow Tubing on Scaly Mountain

Here we are at Scaly Mountain! I wanted to snow tube on the big one so bad but since I am pregger we decided against it! Coleman got on the kiddie slopes and LOVED every minute of it!! He was halarious!! He laughed and giggled the whole the way down and so did we! He was a hoot pulling his tube up by his self. You could tell when he was getting tired, Patrick gave him a lift!!! He tried rolling down on his belly too! WE got some lunch at the cafe and went back for more! That night it snowed big time and Patrick, Poppy and Coleman went out to build a snowman and make snow angels!!!! It was the good kind of snow! Good memories of my buddy in the mountains!!! You can see he loved it and even gave me the thumbs up!!!

Here is Poppy playing the guitar by the fire! It was so neat, it was snowing, we drank coca, ate marshies and listen to poppy play us some tunes! We drove in to Helen, Georgia for the day one day. It is a neat little town. It's German and all the architecture is so neat to look at. You are in a little village with candy shops and wooden toys! Really Cool!! Oh and look at the church in the background, it's in Sky Valley, GA. where we stay every year. It's the prettiest little church and when it snows it is so beautiful!!!

Coleman is the big cousin on the Lantrip side of the family!! He is kind of famous in the little people's eyes you could say!! It's so funny how they follow and copy him! It's sweet! Jack is super laid back and Lona is wild like Coleman! They make a great set of cousins! Bobbie got a new piano and the kids loved it! They were so sweet playing together! It was a great Christmas at the Lantrip's!

Santa came and man was he excited this year!!! All he kept asking for was a big boy scooter, a "razor", a ramp, and a skate board!! He got tons of other stuff but when he saw the ramp, scooter, and skateboard, he really freaked out!! He was sooo excited! It was precious, but Santa told him, safety first!!!!! He always loves his stocking stuff and sat in the chair with it for a while!! He is too funny!!! Santa did get us all a Wii that we have been enjoying!!! Coleman loves the sword fighting!!! Christmas was so cool and it was a white one, I couldn't believe it! I will never forget this Christmas as long as I live!! It was especially wonderful!!

This could be the last Christmas that Chris comes over though because in March, he will be a married man and is moving to Pensacola with his wifeeee!!!!

It Was The Night Before Christmas!!

It was the night before Christmas and all the through the house!!! We were so excited getting ready for the man in the red suit! Coleman put out the letter and the cookies and milk and reindeer food out just where he thought they should go and we read the traditional story twice, once with mom and once with dad!!! He was so precious when he finally went to sleep, on a palet this year in our room because we knew he would fly in there before us if we didn't!! He told us to move Carolines dog bed away from the fireplace so santa wouldn't step on her!!! So we did!!!! It was a precious Christmas Eve!!!

Christmas Eve we made a birthday cake for Jesus! Coleman decorated it and also made yummy gingerbread men for santa too! We waited outside for the fire truck with santa to came by and man was it quite the show in the neighborhood! You could hear the little people screaming with joy all the way down the road! It was so sweet! Coleman loved it and just waved, it was soooo sweet! We look forward to that every year with him!

Christmas Brunch at Angel's!!!

We had a Christmas brunch at Angels house over the holidays!!! Old friends and our babies, it was so fun getting to see everyone together with their little people!! We just laughed the whole time. I brought a cake and some candles over there and all the kids sang happy birthday to Jesus!! It was sooo sweet, they loved it and all had to blow out the candles a FEW times! We went upstairs to try to get a picture of all of them together but it didn't quite work out. We were laughing so hard because they were all over the place and of course wouldn't sit still!! The little ones were crying and scurrying off to their mamas and the big ones were like "whatever!" So then we took them outside to run crazy, play on the swing set and dig in the sand! They had a great time and so did us moms getting together. I hope we do it every year!!! Love all of you and miss the ones who couldn't be there!!!
