We had Coleman's 2nd birthday party early this year at McDonalds, his favorite place in the world. He calls it Donnies! We just had a small family party, well our family is big! He wanted cake and boons he said. So we got a pirate cake and boons and alot of them too! He was so excited! They played and played until we just had to leave basically. He looked so sweet in his little outfit. I just about fell out when I walked in the door and Patrick had put his clothes on already. He looked so big and so little at the same time. My heart just melted when he said, "LOOK MOMMY!" I can't believe my baby is 2! His cousins Trey and Zach were there. Those are his best pals! Abby, my sister and his young aunt was there and he follows her everywhere like he does Trey and Zach so that was a big help. He went down the slide finally with her. He loves the slides but that one was up high and you had to climb in there. He wanted up there but he didn't ! So after some Donnies and play time we decided to have the cake and surprises. He wore his king hat and was ready for happy birthday. I don't think he was expecting such a loud birthday song! He slumped his little head down, poked out his little lip and the poor thing started to shake. I felt so sorry for the little fella. When we all finished and claped for him he realized what was happening and said YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! He just claped and laughed and then blew out his candle! It was tooooo sweet and I caught all of his little expressions on camera. My uncle Richard noticed that his hair was about to catch on fire. We had to quickly back him up. I mean, dang, that would have not been good if his hair would have caught on fire. But it didn't! He had everyone there that loved him except Les, Matt and Jack but they were in South Carolina and it's quite the trip for them. We missed them! It was great though and he enjoyed himself which is what I wanted for him. He was relaxed, not overwhelmed (except for the singing) and got to play with his cousins, oh, and eat donnies and cake! So he got too much stuff of course and he even got a golf cart. Lovie and Poppy got him a real golf cart. It's electric and goes just like the big ones but it's little. It's the cutest thing. He saw it and took off running!!!! He took off buddy in reverse and flew into the fence. It about gave him whiplash but he liked it. It was hysterical!!! When we got home we put the stickers and golf bag in it and he played a little golf! He had so much fun and it was a great 2nd birthday for Coleman. It was an awesome pirate party! ARRRR Matey as Coleman says! Thanks everyone for being there and making his 2nd birthday so special for us! Thursday is his actual birthday, Feb. 12th. So stay tuned for the cutting of the hair. I only have 2 days left with the curls. He is growing up and I have to just go with it, and maybe cry on the side a little!!
