Highlands N.C.

Alright!! So here we are, in the snow!! So I went backwards on my blogging but here we are in the mountains!! This year after the new year daddy couldn't come so it was Coleman, myself, Lovie and Poppy! We love Sky Valley and we always spend time in the Highlands too! Half way up the mountain you can go snow tubing!! It looked SOOOO fun but my buddy wasn't quite 42 inches tall yet, so we decided to wait till next year for that, but man were we jealous of the tubers!! Coleman just liked watching them go down. When we got to the Highlands Harris Lake was frozen over and the fire dept. had already checked it out and the whole town was on it. Big kids on snow mobiles, adults, babies, they were pushing each other around in chairs, on ice skates and on their fannies!!! At night they put up big lights and had bond fires, SOOO Cooool!!!! We ran around on the lake for a while but couldn't stay too long because we didn't have on the right gear!! We had no idea the whole lake would be frozen over SOLID!!! The poor geese were trying to land on their lake but couldn't, all they could do was brace themselves for the ice landing. It was hysterical!! The dogs would run out there and chase them!! It was such a fun experience. It was just like being in a movie!! Man, I wish we could get some of that weather here in Bama, but, we'll settle for a little or Big should I say, "ROOOOOOLLLLL TIIIIDE!" We had a blast. Hate the whole family couldn't be here to see this! We missed you all! We made some great memories with Lovie and Poppy!
