Missing My Uncles!!!

This April my family lost my Uncle Bubba, "Stephen Segrest" over night of something we still really don't know what of. He just got real sick one night and we lost him. He was a wonderful man and I have so many memories with him and my cousin Stephanie growing up. I never imagined he would go at such a young age. He was only 62 years old. We had two services for him. One in Tampa where he lived and raised Stephanie and Leah and one here because this is where he grew up and all his family was. My Uncle Jerry spoke at his services because they were so close. He has been married to my Aunt Joann for 24 years so he has just always been our Uncle Jerry forever! Right after Stephen passed, we got the news that Uncle Jerry had cancer and the bad kind too. BOOM, how could this be? So a couple of weeks ago, he went to. The Lord works in mysterious ways and I trust him and know that his reasons have purpose. We will miss these great times of singing and playing music every Thanksgiving when all the Segrest got together. Uncle Jerry, Uncle Bubba, Daddy, Aunt Joe, Adam and I, and all of our cousins. It seems our family is shrinking. But one thing is for sure, we never let a good moment go, we enjoyed them to the fullest and went out with a bang. Uncle Jerry had his humor till the end and he and my aunt Jo were holding hands till the very last breath. Neither one of these great men were alone. Say prayers for my Dads side of the family. They are hurting and grieving right now and missing some of the greatest men who ever lived! I will miss you Uncles, you rule!!!
